Transportation and Vehicle Testing (TVAR) Research Group plays a role in supporting energy efficiency in the transportation sector in Indonesia. In supporting energy efficiency, the TVAR Rosette Group held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity with the theme “Efisiensi Energi Dalam Mendukung Sistem Transportasi Indonesia“ by presenting resource persons in the energy sector with Dr. Wawan Aries Widodo, S.T., M.T from the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya. This activity was held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 which was held online. On this occasion, the resource person conveyed the importance of energy efficiency in the field of transportation and vehicle testing by presenting the latest innovations to vehicles, one of which is the vehicle body by making it more aerodynamic so that it can reduce fuel consumption in vehicles. The FGD activity was attended by students and lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Padang.
